The Saat Technologe Bag Filters are a cost-effective and efficient solution for seed processing tasks.

These filters are positioned after cyclones and directly after fans to reduce the amount of dust. The appropriate size and model of Bag Filter are chosen according to the amount of airflow and estimated amount of dust to be filtered. The suitability of the model is determined by the airflow amount, filter surface area, and filter type.

Maintenance and filter changes are simple and can be done easily due to their correct positioning. Air passes through the filters while heavy dust is collected in boxes or bags.

The right type of filter is chosen based on the type of processed seed. Custom-made bag filters are available for height restrictions.

AIR LOCK VALVE

Application

Saat Technologe’s air-lock valve type ALV-200 is used for the discharge of dust and other separated particles from systems working with vacuum or pressure. It is dustproof and is used as a pressure block between a cyclone and a dust-collecting bag. In connection with Saat Technologe’s dust-collecting Centrifugal Fans the air-lock valve is mounted between the bottom outlet of the cyclone and the dust bag, where it ensures a uniform and continuous discharge of dust and other particles, and at the same time minimizes the air escaping through the outlet into the dust bag.

Design

The air-lock valve is manufactured from galvanized plate and is complete with a 200 mm (8”) steel roller with 6 radial rubber vanes on the shaft. The rotor is carried by ball bearings and its speed does not normally exceed 40 RPMs. The air-lock valve is lubricated for life and is designed for continuous operation.
