Impact Huller IH Series is a precise and efficient dehulling unit applicable Sunflower Seed, Hemp Seed, Oat Seed, Millet Seeds a like.

Conditions before Hulling:

Sunflower seed to be Dehulled, should have been cleaned/separated from admixtures*

For optimum hulling yield, your sales representative will explain you in detail required conditions.

Hulling Operation with Impact Huller: Seed is fed into the inlet where it enters the impeller wheel through the feed control pipe. Accurate adjustment of the feed control handle determines the perfection of the hulling operation. The centrifugal force of the rotating impeller wheel drives the product against the ‘hulling ring’. The speed of the rotating impeller is adjustable to create the exact force of impact against the hulling ring. Fine-tuning of the speed minimizes broken seeds and maximizes hulling yield. From the hulling chamber, the hulled Sunflower Kernels, shells and unhulled Sunflower Seed discharged at the bottom outlet together.

An industrial duty machine, long lifetime ensured by rugged design ensures easily replaceable Impeller and hulling ring fabricated from a highly durable steel for wear resistance.

Food Grade:

Easy access to all parts of the machine.

Food Grade painted surface is sufficient for Sunflower Seed processing equipment. Stainless Steel surface is optional.

Food Grade Lubricants for bearings.

Hulling yield:

Hulling yield ranges from 70 to 90 %, this high variation happens due to right conditions being provided or not and we are happy to share our experience. Please consult your sales agent.

After Hulling Operation:

Impact Huller breaks the shell of Sunflower Seed and at the out let of the machine, Sunflower Shell, Sunflower Kernels and Whole Sunflower Seed (none hulled) exists together. To obtain Sunflower Kernels there is sequence to do the separation of Sunflower Shell, Sunflower Kernels and Whole Sunflower Seed. Your Sales representative will be happy to explain you what machines are used to obtain the expectable Kernel output. Other seeds like Hemp, Oat and Miller operations are same in the operation.
